Make The Right Start To Your Day

Let’s face it, we’ve all been tempted to press the snooze button on the alarm when you first wake up in the morning, but that extra 15 minutes could make a huge difference to your day… especially if you’ve got a small army to look after! Here at Swan, we’ve come to realise that if you give yourself a little extra time to get organised in the morning, you’ll start the day feeling energised and prepared for whatever life brings.

For the perfect hassle-free start, it’s always a good idea to make your mornings as succinct as possible. The key is to plan ahead and have a simple routine to follow, it’s even better if you work as a team and share the jobs between you and your partner or if you’ve got older kids maybe they could help out with simpler tasks such as packing lunch boxes… but the latter option could be more trouble than it’s worth!

By giving yourself extra time in the morning, you’ll find that you avoid the temptation of quick, sugary, processed foods and instead have the time to prepare more substantial food that’s both delicious and nourishing. Foods that’ll keep you and your family going throughout the day so everything that needs to be done, gets done!

If you’re not a morning person, you can prepare for the day ahead the night before.
